Wanted Plymouth County mother allegedly brings juvenile daughter to breaking and entering

Police are reportedly searching for a woman wanted for allegedly breaking and entering and bringing her daughter along.

According to police, on September 14th, 2023, Duxbury Police were dispatched to 43 Chestnut Street for a report of a past break and entry. The homeowner was not home at the time but reported to police that she saw activity on her Ring Camera.

When Officers McElroy and Mcllroy arrived, they observed a screen that had been removed allowing access to the home. Once the homeowner arrived on scene, she showed the Officers the video on her Ring Camera. The video showed an adult female accompanied by a juvenile female walking around the front of the home and then towards the rear of the home. The video then shows the same two females exiting the home with a TV, leaving the property and walking down Chestnut St.

Officers entered the home and discovered it had been broken into and a TV was taken from the second-floor bedroom. Several other areas of the home were entered and disturbed. Detective Maffeo arrived on scene to follow up on the investigation.

After reviewing the video and speaking with neighbors, Officers and Detective Maffeo determined that the female who entered the home was 35-year-old Jillian Seger from Duxbury. accompanied by her juvenile daughter.

Seger has not been located and an arrest warrant has been issued for Breaking and Entering with intent to commit a misdemeanor, Larceny from a building, Malicious destruction of property, and Reckless endangerment of a child.
