Wanted Bristol County man facing over 20 charges after new arrest on drug, gun, and other charges
A wanted Bristol County man is facing over a dozen charges.
According to Rhode Island State Police, on Tuesday, a Trooper initiated a pedestrian stop on 41-year-old Georgie J. Estrella of Attleboro, Massachusetts on Grace Street in Pawtucket. The Trooper recognized Estrella as someone who had outstanding warrants for his arrest. After a foot pursuit and physical struggle, the Trooper apprehended Estrella with assistance from members of the Pawtucket Police Department.
Estrella was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. An inventory of his backpack yielded the following: .22 caliber revolver (defaced) that was loaded with 5 rounds, 26 grams of crystal methamphetamine and less than 10 grams of the following narcotics: fentanyl, psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, clonazepam, alprazolam, and buprenorphine. Digital scales, narcotics packaging materials, narcotics packaging tools and other narcotics paraphernalia were also recovered.
Estrella was charged with the following:
- Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance (Crystal Methamphetamine)
- Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)
- Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance (LSD)
- Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine)
- Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance (Psilocybin)
- Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule III/IV Controlled Substance (Clonazepam)
- Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule III/IV Controlled Substance (Alprazolam)
- Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule V Controlled Substance (Buprenorphine)
- Carrying a Pistol or Revolver Without a License or Permit
- Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons Prohibited
- Carrying a Firearm When Committing a Crime of Violence
- Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation
- Alteration of Marks of Identification on Firearms
- Attempted Larceny Over $10,000
- Assault on a Police Officer
- Vandalism/Malicious Injury to Property
- Resisting Arrest
- Obstructing a Police Officer in the Execution of Duty
- Disorderly Conduct
- Providence County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Violation Hearing on the original charge of Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance (originating from the East Providence Police Department)
- Providence County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Violation Hearing on the original charge of Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance (originating from the Providence Police Department)

Estrella was arraigned yesterday in 6th District Court on his charges and he was subsequently held without bail.
