Vietnam Veterans Memorial Swimming Pool in Fall River closed due to vandalism
A Fall River pool is forced to close in the heat of summer.
According to Massachusetts DCR, effective immediately, the Department of Conservation and Recreation will temporary close Vietnam Veterans Memorial Swimming Pool in the City of Fall River, in order to drain and clean the pool after vandalism resulted in broken glass in the pool.
DCR is committed to providing a safe environment for guests and will provide updates on the reopening as soon as possible.
DCR will be conducting necessary maintenance and safety checks before reopening.

What a ‘Total Disgrace’, the State and Gov. Healey has $BILLIONS$ for her Biden/Harris and the DEMS, “Open Borders” Folks. Less than Crumbs for Hard Working MA Tax Payers to enjoy these State Recreation locations, boiling heat.
The State cannot pay to have this under ‘Police Video Surveillance’, where are the State DCR Mass Environmental Police? ZZZZZ? Hard working Taxpayers working 2 1/2 Jobs to pay ‘MA Tax’s’ and local ‘Prop Tax’s’, Etc. In this heat, when a Pool is needed, where are our State Rep’s? ZZZZZ?
If their is anyone left with some ‘basic competence’ in State Govt?, hopefully this Pool gets Security, and Fixed and re-opened on the Double Quick? State Parks and Pools in high Crime areas
need a comprehensive Security Plan. Hard working MA Taxpayers deserve a lot better, looks their goes another UHAUL, ‘Great Americans, leaving “Massghanistan”!
