Victim injured in serious Saturday morning crash
A driver was injured this morning after a serious crash.
According to West Greenwich Fire and Rescue, at approximately 1:35 a.m., E-21,E-22 and R-2 responded to Robin Hollow Road for a vehicle rollover.
When Fire and EMS arrived on scene, they discovered a vehicle on it’s side in the woods with one victim pinned. The roof of the vehicle was against a tree.
Personnel stabilized the vehicle, the windshield was removed and then the roof was removed to extract the victim from the vehicle.
The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
The crash is under investigation, however, weather and road conditions were possibly a factor.
