UPDATE: 3 seriously injured in Route 24 crash Friday
Multiple vehicles were involved in a crash late Friday night on Route 24 South in Brockton.
According to the Brockton Fire Department, shortly before midnight, at least one person was trapped in the crash near exit 18B. A witness reported that at least one was ejected from a vehicle.
Massachusetts State Police tells Fall River Reporter that three people were seriously injured in the crash while several others received minor injuries. The seriously injured were transported to a Boston Hospital in serious condition.
At least 7 cars were involved in the incident according to Massachusetts State Police. 10-12 were reported by Fire officials.
No charges have been filed at this time.
