Unlicensed juvenile cited after reportedly leaving the scene from Fall River barrier crash
A juvenile has been cited on multiple charges after a crash into a barrier on Saturday.
According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Johnson Street and Beattie Street regarding a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unlicensed juvenile operator had struck the yellow barriers at this location causing significant damage to the vehicle. He attempted to leave the area but was located by responding officers.
The juvenile operator was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
He was cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, negligent operation, and leaving the scene.
