Two Massachusetts men arrested in separate incidents where in total, thousands in drugs, cash, gun were seized

Two Massachusetts men are facing several charges, including drug trafficking, after two separate incidents. One of the suspects is also facing gun charges.

According to Brockton Police, on Monday afternoon, undercover detectives noticed drug activity in a black Infiniti G35. At one point, the Infiniti pulled into a gas station without getting fuel and parked far away from the pumps. An illegal drug deal happened moments later.

Detectives alerted Patrol Officers, who stopped the driver on North Main Street. With the help of our K-9 Woody, who detects illegal narcotics, detectives seized nearly $6,000.00 worth of the deadly drug Fentanyl. In addition, detectives seized $4,950.00 worth of cocaine and $1,305 in the drug bust.

They arrested 20-year-old Steven Gilmore Clark of Boston for trafficking Fentanyl and cocaine. If convicted of the Fentanyl charge, the suspect could face 20 years in prison; the mandatory minimum sentence is 3 ½ years. The Cocaine Trafficking in more than 18 grams charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of two years with a maximum of 15 years in state prison.

In a separate incident, Detectives spotted a man at Warren Avenue and West Elm Street in Brockton suspected of being responsible for at least two shots fired incidents in the city.

They seized a 9mm handgun, ten rounds of ammunition, 48 grams of Fentanyl, 52 grams of crack cocaine, and over $1,300.

20-year-old Sheider Ambroise of Whitman faces several charges, including Trafficking more than ten grams of Fentanyl, Cocaine Trafficking, the Unlawful Carrying of a Firearm, and carrying a loaded gun. Ambroise faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted of the Fentanyl Trafficking alone. State Police and CINRET South assisted in the operation.
