Two from Fall River arrested on drug charges after drugs, gun, seized during well-being check

On Friday, two from Fall River were arrested on drug and gun charges after a well-being check.

According to East Providence Police, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Officers Debold and Taaffe were dispatched to the Burger King on Taunton Avenue to check on the well being of two individuals sleeping in a vehicle.

Upon arrival, Officer Debold located the vehicle backed into a parking spot, occupied by a male and female. After seeing Officer Debold exit his
cruiser, the female passenger attempted to conceal something near the center console. Officer Debold approached and told the male to lower his window. The male complied, but began slowly driving forward with Officer Debold giving commands for him to stop. Officer Debold was able to get the male to stop the vehicle.

While speaking to the occupants, Officer Taafe observed a suspected crack pipe and crack cocaine in plain view. After further investigation and a search of the vehicle, police seized 22 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 90 grams of suspected fentanyl, 10 grams of suspected heroin, a loaded 380 Bryco Arms handgun, $3,791 and 2 digital scales .

As a result of the officer’s investigation, 43-year-old Marc Dubois and 42-year-old Holly Langellier, both from Fall River, were arrested.

Dubois is charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of a Crime of Violence, 3 Counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule I-V, and Possession of an Adulterated/Misbranded Drug.

Langellier is charged with 3 Counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule I-V and Possession of an Adulterated Misbranded Drug.
