Two dead, one in serious condition in fatal Friday evening crash
A fatal crash occurred Friday evening in Berkley, according to police.
Berkley Police stated that at 6:10 p.m., the Berkley Police Department responded to a single vehicle crash on Sanford Street.
The vehicle contained three occupants, two of which succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. A third passenger was transported to Rhode Island Hospital in serious condition.
Officers responded to the scene and were assisted by Berkley Fire Department and the Dighton Police Department.
The Berkley Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, and the Bristol County District Attorney’s office are investigating the crash.
Due to the ongoing investigation the victim’s names are not being released at this time.
