Two community clean-ups being organized in Fall River
Many city residents have been voicing their displeasure at some of the trash and debris that is located throughout the city. Here is your chance to put your money where your mouth is.
Two community clean-ups have been organized by two groups.
On June 2nd, Angels Anonymous is holding a neighborhood clean-up. The group will be cleaning the area between The Landing and Bay Street around the railroad tracks from the Kennedy Parking Overlook Bridge North about 1000 Ft. The MassDOT will be joining them as well as residents of The Landing. If you would like to join them, it will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and you are asked to park your vehicle at Kennedy Park Overlook on Bay Street.
A group of volunteers led by Trott Lee will be holding a community clean-up at 54 North Rocliffe Street on June 9th at 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Bags and grabbers will be supplied.
