Two arrested by Dartmouth Police on multiple drug charges
DARTMOUTH, MA – According to Dartmouth Police, on Friday, Dartmouth Police narcotics detectives, with the assistance of Westport Police detectives, arrested John Oliveira, 61, of Sodom Road, Westport, and Bernadette Saucier, 58, of Highland Avenue, Dartmouth, in conjunction with an extensive narcotics investigation.
As a result of their arrests, approximately 1.25 grams of suspected cocaine, 4 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and pills, believed to be Oxycodone, were seized. In addition, $371 in cash was also seized.
This is the second time in just over a month that Oliveira has been arrested for narcotics violations by Dartmouth Police detectives.
As a result of this incident, Oliveira was charged with possession with intent to distribute Class B (subsequent offense), two counts of possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug, two counts of possession of a Class B drug, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and resisting arrest.
Saucier was charged with possession of a Class B drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
