Twin River ticket redemption to begin next week

PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND, JUNE 3, 2020: Non-invited guests holding winning Sportsbook or VLT tickets will be allowed to redeem them at both Twin River Rhode Island properties effective Wednesday, June 10th, 2020.

According to Marc Crisafulli, president of Twin River Casino Hotel in Lincoln and the Tiverton Casino Hotel, patrons who have been holding winning tickets prior to the temporary closure of the two Rhode Island casinos due to COVID-19 will be able to visit both properties between the hours of 4 – 8pm for a two week period from June 10 – 24, 2020.

Strict protocols for accessing the casinos are in place and details may be found at twinrivercasino.com/reopening.

For Twin River Casino Hotel in Lincoln, upon arrival to the property, customers will be stopped by security personnel and asked to present the winning ticket and photo ID. A series of COVID-19 health questions will be asked and if the guest is deemed healthy, will be directed to proceed to the South Parking Lot.

Thermal screening will occur at the South Entrance. If their temperature exceeds 100.4 degrees, the customer is instructed to depart the property. Healthy patrons with a mask will be given a color-coded wristband allowing access to the third floor Racebook/Sportsbook area, checked by Security personnel at various points. Upon redemption, immediate departure is mandatory.

For the Tiverton Casino Hotel, guests will approach the main entrance and the procedures are largely the same. Guests will be directed to the Sportsbook ticket counters to the left of the main entrance and asked to depart after redemption.
