Tucker Street, William S. Canning Boulevard road closures, detours to take place
According to City Engineer, J R Frey, work in the area of Tucker Street and William S. Canning Boulevard will cause some closures and detours.
Please be aware of road closures on Tucker Street and for travel on William S. Canning Boulevard starting on Monday, December 2, 2019. The road closures are required for the installation of new drainage infrastructure in Tucker Street.
The work on Tucker Street is anticipated to be completed on or before December 24th, 2019, but is dependent upon weather and the potential for unforeseen conditions encountered during construction.
Work on the west side of William Canning Boulevard at Tucker Street will commence first and require closure of southbound travel lanes on William S. Canning Boulevard. Work on the east side of William S. Canning Boulevard will require closure of the northbound lanes.
As the project advances south along William S. Canning Boulevard, these detours will change. All detour changes will be indicated by signage.
Please follow detour routes during these closures. Detour routing will be available at the City of Fall River’s website prior to the road closures.
