Toddler left unattended at Massachusetts Target
A young child was left behind and unattended at a Massachusetts Target store.
According to Easton Police, at 1:00pm on Saturday September 22, a male child, approximately eighteen months old, was found unattended in a shopping carriage in the parking lot of Target store, located at 41 Robert Drive in Easton. The child appeared unharmed and was evaluated by Easton Police and Fire, prior to being transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton, MA for further evaluation.
Officers spoke with witnesses who stated the child was seen with two adult females and two adult males while shopping inside of Target. It was also determined through video surveillance that the four individuals left the area in a Toyota SUV bearing Maine registration plates. At approximately 2:07pm, the Easton Police Department received a call from an adult male reporting that he had accidently left the child at Target.
This incident is currently under investigation by Easton Police and the Department of Children and Families.
