Tiverton Officers to hand out gift cards for good driving
If you are stopped today by a Tiverton Police Officer, don’t panic just yet. You may be getting a reward. Tiverton Police are giving an added incentive for drivers on this fourth of July.
According to the Tiverton Police Department, extra officers have been added today to ensure a safe and happy Independence Day for residents. Officers will not only be vigilant for “bad” driving behavior but in honor of our country’s independence, officers will be looking for examples of good driving habits and will reward motorists with gift cards courtesy of Dunkin’ Donuts and Sakonnet River Grille. TPD have gift cards for $5, $10, and one gift card for $17.76. Officers will be handing these cards out to citizens with quotes from the founders in honor of our country’s birth and continued freedom and liberty. Happy Independence Day courtesy of Tiverton Police!
