Three Massachusetts teens facing charges after teen seriously injured in shooting
Three teens are facing charges after another teen was shot recently.
According to police, in the early morning hours on Tuesday, the Stoughton Police Department arrested 3 individuals related to the February 23rd shooting on McEachron Drive that left one teenager seriously injured.
Over the last few weeks, the Stoughton Police Department worked to secure 3 arrest warrants and bring the people involved into custody.
With assistants from Randolph Police and the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council, a search warrant was conducted on Reed Street in Randolph.
Upon entry, 18-year-old Christopher King-Yancey was taken into custody. King-Yancey will be charged with Armed assault to murder, Discharge of a firearm within 500 feet of a building, Assault & Battery with a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury, Conspiracy to armed assault to murder, Carrying a firearm without a license, and Possession of ammunition without license.
Officers also went to Webster Street in Randolph and took 18-year-old Joseph Millwood into custody. Millwood had a warrant in connection to this shooting and will be charged with Conspiracy to armed assault to murder, Accessory before fact, Accessory after the fact, Assault & Battery with a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury, and Armed assault to murder.
The third arrest was a teenage male from Randolph. He will be arraigned in Dedham juvenile court for Accessory before the fact, Accessory after the fact, and Conspiracy to armed assault to murder.
Millwood and King-Yancey were arraigned in Stoughton District Court.
Authorities believe that the shooting was targeted and not a random act.
