These three Fall River dogs have been waiting to find their forever home, could you help?
The Fall River Forever Paws Pet of the Week is a trio this week that can be adopted separately as they have been with the shelter for months with zero interest and deserve a forever home.
Apollo has been waiting for 10 weeks!
Apollo is a gorgeous three year old husky with all of the typical breed attributes: playful, energetic, mischievous, and social! He is absolutely fantastic with other dogs, and just wants to zoom around with them until they’re both exhausted. He handles corrections well and knows his own limits.
Apollo has lived with children, so Forever Paws would feel comfortable placing him in a home with children 5-years-old+.
Apollo has a great foundation of training for you to build off of; he’s mastered his cues and has decent leash manners for a 65lb dog. He’s friendly with strangers and offers tail wags and silly smiles to everyone he meets. His favorite thing to do is walk around with a stuffed animal in his mouth and awoooo at you through it!
No cats for him please.
Bronx has been waiting for 5 weeks!
Bronx has not received one application or visit request.
This handsome 6 year old house hippo has such an easy, go-with-the-flow temperament!
As shy as he can be at first, some patience and a little bit of time will turn him into a complete and utter mush that doesn’t mind being squished and squeezed and smushed. He’s a playful boy that LOVES toys and doesn’t really have a preference…as long as it’s colorful, he’ll play with it! Bronx would be a perfect walking partner because he loves checking out new smells and the world around him; he’s also very respectful of his handler and will trot along right by your side.
Bronx does well with female dogs and would be great with kids that are 12+. He’s terrified of cats despite being about six times their size, so he probably shouldn’t be placed with them!
Buffalo has been with Forever Paws for 5 weeks with not one application or visit!
This handsome man is about five years old and is just an absolute sweetheart. He’s a good, loving, friendly boy that’s looking for his perfect forever home.
He’s a 60lb pittie that would do well with other dogs (female dogs highly preferred, he’s an absolute ham with them) and with children 12+. No cats, please!
Buffalo LOVES female dogs. He’s a definite ladies’ man and does an excited little pitter patter, tiptoe tap dance whenever he sees them. He’s excellent on a leash, especially when walking beside a pretty girl. His manners are impeccable!
He’s also a bit of an extrovert. He wants to be friends with every person he meets. He’ll come right up to you and lean against your legs for scratches and cover you in kisses.
If you are interested in meeting any of these dogs please call Forever Paws to schedule an appointment!
