The City of Fall River will be seeing road detours and disruptions due to water main work in multiple locations
The City of Fall River will be seeing road detours and disruptions due to water main work in multiple locations.
A section of Atlantic Blvd. in the vicinity of Mt. Hope Ave. will experience periodic road closures as needed for water main work in that area.
The closures will be in effect beginning immediately through 12/2/2022 Please seek alternate routes or follow the posted detour signs.
A section of water main will also see a shut down on North Main Street.
The affected area is expected to be from President Ave to Alton Street. Isolated areas on the streets from North Main Street to Highland Ave adjacent to this area may also be affected.
Other locations in the area may be affected depending on location of isolation valves.
The closure will begin 10/20/2022 starting at 9:00 p.m. and will be in place until the work is completed. The work is not expected to be more than 8 hours.
Door hanger notification tags are being placed on the doors of the customers that are expected to be affected from the North Main work.
You are advised to draw water for use prior to the North Main shutdown.
