A Taunton man who was on a “Most Wanted” list, has been captured.

According to Lakeville police, on July 8, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Sergeant Erik McNeice completed a week long investigation with the arrest of 22 year old fugitive Donald Santin. Santin, who was placed on the Bristol County District Attorney’s Most Wanted list in June, was arrested at 1 Freetown Street in Lakeville.

Santin was arrested on warrants for assault and battery on a police officer and distribution of Oxycodone.

In addition to the warrants, Donald Santin was found in possession of 46 Oxycodone pills and $1,800. He was arraigned in Wareham District Court on Monday July 8th.

Santin had a pending superior court case where he was charged with trafficking over 600 pills of Percocet. Despite the open case, he was arrested again on June 9th for dealing Percocet, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.

Santin was found in possession of 26 pills and $2,000 in cash.

Since his arrest occurred on a weekend, an on call clerk set bail at $1,000. Santin posted bail and was due in a Taunton court, but hadn’t been seen since.
