Somerset police made an arrest this morning in a tattoo deal gone wrong.

According to Somerset Police, at 2:00 a.m. today, Officers were called to the Orbits Inn on Riverside Avenue on the report of an armed robbery which had just occurred in a room at the hotel. Victims told police that they had gone to that room to do some tattoo work for the suspect. Once the work was completed the suspect displayed a revolver, which he loaded in front of them, and then told the victims he wanted his money back. The suspect then attempted to block the victims from leaving by holding the door shut. The victims were able to flee unharmed and call the police. Somerset Police set up a perimeter and requested the SPD K-9 Unit. SPD Sergeant Kevin Borges called the suspect’s room several times requesting he exit the room, which he finally did. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. He is identified as Justin Rebello, age 26, of Fall River. He is being charged with armed robbery, two counts of kidnapping, and assault by means of dangerous weapon.

A search warrant was applied for and granted. A subsequent search of the room revealed a pellet gun that resembles a .357 handgun with rounds to match. Those items were recovered and held as evidence.
