Swansea’s 6th annual Holiday in the Village to feature music, entertainment, food trucks, tree lighting, Santa
The itinerary has been released for Swansea’s 6th annual Holiday in the Village!
The event will be taking place on December 2nd from 4 – 8PM on historic Main Street (street closes at 3PM)
• 4 PM – Come early, the food trucks (including Aroma Joes, Big Daddy King) and vendors will be open.
• 5 PM – The Case High Band will perform at the tree lighting ceremony.
• The Case Jr. High gym will host a touch-a-truck, face painters, a balloon artist and magician, Skip Daniels will entertain with shows at 5:30, 6:15 and 7 PM.
• The library will have a craft, train display and book readings at 6, 6:30 and 7:15 PM. Santa and his elves will be outside at the gazebo.
• Watch ’Frosty’ while having treats provided by Fire Station #1.
• Visit with the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Brown School & Jr High PTOs.
• Look for strolling carolers, the Case High Saxophone quintet and the YMCA‘s Axel Dance Academy will perform.
• Christ Church will be open, and their Parish Hall will have cookie decorating kits and refreshments.
• Stony Creek Farm will host a petting zoo and offer wagon rides.
• The historic Stevens Home will be open. Participate in their giving tree and spend time with the Swansea Historical Society.
• Be sure to bring a bag to carry all your goodies home.
Admission is free and open to the public.
