Swansea Selectman Carreiro to represent Somerset Selectman Vaught in court after Fall River filing

Recent court documents filed in Fall River District Court show Swansea Selectman and local attorney Christopher Carreiro will be representing fellow Somerset Selectman Jacob Vaught in an upcoming court hearing.

Carreiro entered an appearance on behalf of Vaught on December 4th.

Vaught is being sued by LVNV funding for a breach of a credit card agreement with Navy Federal Credit Union in the amount of $18,665.16 plus court costs.

Vaught was elected to his first term as a Somerset Selectman in 2022 in a race against former Somerset Selectwoman and local environmental activist Kathy Souza.
