State and Brockton Police investigating fatal fall of 9-year-old boy
BROCKTON – State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and Brockton Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal fall of a 9-year-old boy in Brockton this morning.
Brockton Police responded to a 911 call from a family member at approximately 9:25 a.m. this morning reporting that a male juvenile had fallen from a 9th floor window at Belair Tower in Brockton. Upon arrival, police and first responders found an unresponsive boy. The boy was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton where he was pronounced dead.
Brockton Police contacted State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and an investigation commenced. No foul play is suspected. The investigation is ongoing.
The victim is not being identified at this time, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
