Spirit of Somerset Family Fun Day to have something for everyone

Summer may be coming to an end, but there is still great weather and fun to be had. There is plenty of food and fun scheduled for Spirit of Somerset Family Fun Day next weekend.

Food, fireworks, entertainment and more is scheduled for Saturday September 15th at Waterfront Park on Main Street.

Hamburgers, sausage, Del’s Lemonade, ice cream, cotton candy, and McCray’s seafood will be some of your food options.

Some of the schedule of activities are as follows:

Soap Box Race: 8a.m. to 11:30a.m.
Autoshow (at the bluffs South Street: 10a.m. to 4p.m.
Boat rides: noon to 5p.m.
Painting Workshop: 1p.m. to 5p.m.
Petting Zoo/Pony Rides: noon to 6p.m.
Train Rides: noon to 6p.m.
Teamworks (dodge ball, inflatable obstacle course, temporary tattoos): noon to 6p.m.
Fireworks: 9p.m.
Shuttle bus: noon to 11p.m.

There will also be vendors and musical entertainment.
