RI man arrested on DUI on same day he went to court for separate DUI

On September 6 at approximately 3:30 p.m., South Kingstown Police Department arrested Herbert Bliven (age 51) of 10 Reardon Drive, Middletown, RI for suspicion of DUI (BAC Unknown) and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. Bliven was issued a summons for Laned Roadway Violations and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, he will appear in RITT on September 17, 2018.

Bliven was arrested and processed at SKPD before being transported to Fourth Division District Court for the criminal charge of DUI (BAC Unknown). Bliven is being held at the ACI and has a Bail Violation hearing (for a Richmond PD DUI arrest) and a pretrial conference on September 12, 2018.
