Southeastern Massachusetts high school teacher, coach arrested on child rape charges
Police say that a man that is employed at a southeastern Massachusetts high school was arrested Monday on some disturbing charges.
According to Yarmouth Police, at approximately 10:00 a.m., law enforcement officers with the Yarmouth Police Department arrested Daniel A. Robles of West Yarmouth for Indecent Assault & Battery on a Child Under 14 and Rape of a Child.
Robles was booked at the Yarmouth Police Department and transferred to the Barnstable District Court for arraignment. Yarmouth PD stated that the investigation into the incident is ongoing and additional charges may be sought.
Robles is a special education staff member and football coach at the Dennis Yarmouth Regional High School. Upon learning of the arrest, School Administrators immediately placed Robles on administrative leave.
Due to the nature of the alleged crimes no additional information was released by officials.
