Somerset Police arrest 24 and 25-year-olds after seizing significant amount of drugs

Chief Todd Costa reports that the Somerset Police Department arrested two people on various charges and seized a significant amount of drugs on Friday.

Just after 3:15 a.m., the Somerset Police Detective Division, comprised of Detective Lt. Jason Matos, Detective Sgt. Nicholas Davidson, and Detectives James Cardella, Donald Cormier, and Michael DeMoranville, executed a search warrant at an apartment on the 400 block of High St., with assistance from Somerset patrol officers Eli Fishbein and Joseph Bois, as part of an ongoing investigation.

Somerset Police seized an estimated 105 grams of what is believed to be cocaine, a 30-round large-capacity feeding device, 72 rounds of ammunition, and $7,448 in cash.

24-year-old Kyle Pelletier of Somerset was arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking Class B Cocaine 100 Grams or More but Less Than 200 Grams, Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.

25-year-old Julian Bianchi of Somerset was arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking Class B Cocaine 100 Grams or More but Less Than 200 Grams, Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws, and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Pelletier and Bianchi were scheduled to be arraigned on Friday in Fall River District Court.
