Some fun is on tap for Massachusetts woman after hitting $1 million on State Lottery scratch ticket
Cyndi Lauper once said, “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”. A Massachusetts woman will be taking that to heart after a big State Lottery win.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Mary Dickhaut of Shirley is the winner of the first $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “100X” $10 instant ticket game.
She chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Dickhaut plans to have some fun with the winnings.
She purchased her winning ticket at M&M Convenience, 1 Front St. in Shirley. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
There are eight unclaimed $1 million grand prizes remaining in the “100X” instant game.
