Roxbury shooting suspect arrested in Fall River

Boston Police arrested a man in Fall River that was wanted on an outstanding warrant for a Roxbury shooting.

According to BPD, at about 7:33 p.m. on Wednesday January 16th, officers assigned to the Youth Violence Strike Force arrested Terrell Williams, 22, of Roxbury on an outstanding warrant in the area of 182 Blackstone Street in Fall River. At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted in connection to a non-fatal shooting of an adult male victim that occurred at about 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday January 9, 2019, in the area of 4 Brinton Street in Roxbury.

Hours before the arrest was made, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) executed a search warrant as part of this investigation in the area of 48 Bower Street in Roxbury. During their search, officers located and seized a 9mm SAR Arms B6 Compact handgun along with numerous rounds of ammunition and assorted large capacity feeding devices.

The suspect will appear in Roxbury District Court on charges of Assault with Intent to Murder, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device and Improper Storage of a Firearm.
