Road rage incident in Norfolk County leads to shooting that ends in multi-vehicle crash
A shooting and crash that took place Wednesday night were the results of a road rage incident.
At approximately 9:15 p.m., police and EMS responded to a serious 3-vehicle crash at the intersection of Plain Street & West Street in Stoughton.
Upon arrival at the crash, officers discovered that one vehicle had an occupant that had been shot.
A preliminary investigation has revealed that prior to the crash, two parties had a disagreement at a 7-11 convenience store in Canton. A road rage incident ensued following the argument which led to a shooting and the subsequent crash. The third car involved in the crash was not involved in the road rage incident.
All five of the victims involved in the crash were transported to an area hospital and have since been discharged.
Nobody is in custody at this time, and it is currently unclear where exactly the shooting took place.
Officials continue to investigate the incident and ask that if anyone has information pertaining to it, to bring it forward.
