Rhode Island woman arrested after allegedly throwing items at moving vehicles on the highway
Police arrested a Rhode Island woman on Saturday after reportedly throwing stuff at vehicles that were on the highway.
According to Rhode Island State Police, just after 3:45 p.m., Troopers out of the Hope Valley Barracks arrested 39-year-old Melia Amore of Coventry, Rhode Island for Throwing Articles at Moving Vehicles.
Police say that the arrest was the result of a road rage incident investigation that occurred on Route 95 in the Town of West Greenwich.
Amore was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released pending a future Third Division District Court date.
