Rhode Island probation violator involved in alleged Westport home invasion facing drug and gun charges, 10 total
A Rhode Island man who previously served time for a local home invasion is facing a list of new charges.
According to Rhode Island State Police, at just before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Troopers arrested 37-year-old Jayson C. Shute of West Warwick, Rhode Island for Possession of Ghost Gun, License or Permit Required to Carry a Pistol, Possession of Firearm by Person Convicted of Crime of Violence, Weapons Other than Firearms Prohibited, Weapons Other than Firearms Prohibited, Large Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited, Carrying Dangerous Weapons/Substances Committing Crime of Violence – First Offense, Manufacturing/Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule I/II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl, Possession of Controlled Substance – Schedule I to V – 10g or Less – Methamphetamine, and Driving with Suspended License – Fourth or Subsequent Offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Turner Drive in the Town of West Warwick.
Shute was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions where he was held as a Bail and Probation Violator.

There was absolutely no crimes of violence happening we juat got smoothies and was goin to get my jewelry… they didn’t even have a reason to stopnus let alone do an illegal search and seizure of anything that was in the vehicle…. granted whatever they found was awful but most definitely did not belong to either one of us… he just picked his car up from the shop and the glovebkx is even still locked now they broke it open n closed it n broke into get trunk both pkace locked we couldn’t get into them so whatever they found aint ours…. I love you baby to infinity and beyond my love always… I will here for you forever and more into the next and the one after that…. xoxoxo
