Rhode Island man dies in motorcycle crash
The Rhode Island State Police announces that a 30-year-old Rhode Island man died after his motorcycle crashed into the median on the southbound lane of Route 4 in the Town of East Greenwich.
The victim was identified as Derek LeBlanc of Warwick, Rhode lsland.
Troopers received a report of a motorcycle crash at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Route 4 South, north of Route 2 (South County Trail), where LeBlanc lost control of the motorcycle.
LeBlanc was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and pronounced deceased at the hospital.
