Rhode Island man arrested for child molestion, released, more victims expected
Police are looking for more information and more possible victims after a Rhode Island man was arrested on child molestation charges.
On February 15, detectives were called back to duty to further investigate a report of child molestation involving an eleven year old female victim. The victim reported being molested by a family friend identified as Johnnie Doe, 53, of 95 Sterling St., Pawtucket, RI. Doe was located and brought in for investigation.
After an investigation, Doe was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Child Molestation Sexual Assault. He was arraigned in Providence District Court on February 18, 2019 and released on surety bail.
During the course of the investigation detectives received additional information that Doe may have assaulted other children. If anyone has any information on these alleged assaults or may have been a victim themselves, contact Detective Cardente at 401-727-9100 ext 769.
