Rhode Island husband allegedly stabs pregnant wife with children present
A pregnant Rhode Island woman has been stabbed and her husband is the suspect.
Just before 8:30 p.m. on Friday, a call came into dispatch for a woman stabbed in the back with screaming in the background on High Street in Westerly.
It was stated during scanner transmissions that the suspect was in custody.
According to WJAR10, the suspect and the victim are married, and the woman is currently pregnant. Two of their children were present at the scene.
The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
The suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Antoine Knight and is currently being held at the ACI.
