Residents encouraged to make arrangements for “abnormal” tax season
(Fall River, MA- January 29, 2021)- As the Fall River Collector’s Office prepares for the issuance of over 61,000 excise tax bills, the City of Fall River is urging residents to pay their bills remotely or at offsite locations. Bills will be mailed on 2/5/21 and will be due 3/8/21.
Residents may pay their tax bill in one of the following ways:
Residents can pay online by visiting https://www.fallriverma.org/online-payments/
Residents can pay at one of the five BayCoast Bank drive-up locations in Fall River.
Residents can pay via mail with a check or money order.
Residents can pay by phone by calling the Fall River tax payment hotline at 855-801-0769 and following the automated prompts.
Residents can use the Government Center drop box at the Third St entrance (checks and money orders only).
Taxpayers are encouraged to use one of the options above instead of coming in person to City Hall. Residents who must come in need to make an appointment by calling the Collector’s Office at 508-324-2240. Those paying in-person are encouraged to pay by check or money order, if possible, so that customers can be served quickly.
