Repaving in Fall River to cause parking, traffic issues
The good news is that repaving of a street is taking place. The bad news is that it will cause parking and traffic issues.
As part of the ongoing Middle Street Drainage Improvements Project, parking will be prohibited on both sides of Middle Street, between Bay Street and Broadway, daily from 5:00 AM – 7:00 PM starting on July 8th, 2019 to July 13th, 2019 to allow for the phase one repaving work.
Vehicular access along Middle Street will be restricted during the repaving operation therefore, please follow all posted detour routes. Department of Community Utilities is asking residents to seek parking along the following side streets “Liberty Street, S. Beach Street, Ash Street, S. Almond Street, S. Beacon Street, and Sprague Street. Any/all vehicles that are parked along Middle Street between the above referenced hours will be towed at the owner’s expense.
