UPDATE: Raynham man missing with dementia found in Providence
UPDATE: Chief James Donovan reports that the missing Raynham resident suffering from dementia has been found safe and unharmed.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, the man, an 87-year-old Raynham resident, was located in East Providence, R.I. He has been reunited with his family.
According to family, people reported multiple sightings due to seeing his photo on social media.

Chief James Donovan reports the Raynham Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a man with dementia who was reported missing on Wednesday.
Charles “Andy” Callahan, 87, of Raynham, was last seen on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at approximately 1:30 p.m. at his home on Elm Street. At that time, he left his home, driving a gray 2000 Ford Taurus bearing Massachusetts registration 84EE14 and a United States Air Force decal, to go to the nearby Georgio’s Restaurant to pick up food, but never arrived.
Callahan is described as a 6 foot, approximately 175 pound man with white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hat, blue shirt and dark blue pants.
Anyone who believes they may have located Callahan is asked to call Raynham Police at 508-824-2716 or your local police department.
