The Providence Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a juvenile who was seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash involving an electric scooter at Broad Street and Atlantic Avenue.
The unidentified rider was transported to Hasbro Children’s Hospital with serious injuries. Investigators have been unable to determine his identity and are asking anyone who may recognize him or know who he is to come forward.
The juvenile is described as:
• Light-skinned Hispanic male
• Approximately 15–16 years old
• Approximately 5’9” and 120 pounds
• Curly brown hair
• Wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt
• Riding a black electric scooter with red markings

Due to the seriousness of his injuries, investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in promptly identifying the juvenile and locating a parent or legal guardian.
The Providence Police Traffic Bureau is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
