Prominent activist states all white images of Jesus need to be taken down
Prominent Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King stated on social media Monday that all images showing Jesus as white should come down because they are a form of white supremacy.
King made the comments as statues, images, and company branding have been taken down or are in the process of being changed after they either were deemed racist or they involved people who were tied to slavery.
“Yes I think the statues of the white European they claim is Jesus should also come down. They are a form of white supremacy. Always have been. In the Bible, when the family of Jesus wanted to hide, and blend in, guess where they went? EGYPT! Not Demark. Tear them down.”
King also posted that “We can debate rather or not Jesus was real all day long. What I do know, is that white Jesus is a lie. And is a tool of white supremacy created and advanced to help white people use the faith as a tool of oppression. Also, they never would’ve accepted a religion from a Brown man. So they just made up a blonde haired blue eyed European.”
King then posted support for taking down more than statues as “all murals and stained glass windows of white Jesus, and his European mother, and their white friends should also come down. They are a gross form white supremacy. Created as tools of oppression. Racist propaganda. They should all come down.”
The comments caused much internet chatter supporting both sides of the argument.

Can someone explain to me why a person that very few even know exists, is labeled a prominent activist. This guy is desperately attempting a shot at relevance while representing the Soros stooge festival. Stay away from my church because I believe in righteous indignation.

An entire generation knows who he is, you are clearly not from that generation. He is from generation “woke” jokes that do nothing but promote a “victim” culture across all social platforms. Is he capitalizing on recent issues for said victim promotion, yes. But he has a MASSIVE following.
Aside from that topic, how does a white Jesus exist in the middle east? I’m a Catholic and even I ask those questions.

An entire generation, surely you jest. Are you saying that there are no Semitic peoples who are white? Are there no white people on the african continent? Sounds like you’ve been overserved with the soros kool aid. It would take a 1000 year period for a white family to become colored if they became sub-equatorial.

How is an observation about Jesus behavior, like when he flipped the money changers tables and expelled them from the temple exclusive to the bible or religion? Is this the first time in history when such behavior manifested? Your thought is complete programming. You have been put into a box and buttons are being pushed to control all of your thoughts and behaviors. It is possible for you to escape this control but I don’t thinks it’s likely.
