Portsmouth man arrested on charge of Indecent Solicitation of a Child
A local man has been arrested concerning an incident involving a teenager.
According to Portsmouth Police, on Tuesday, 26-year-old Steven Peterson, of Portsmouth RI was arrested for Indecent Solicitation of a Child.
Through an investigation, it was revealed that Peterson allegedly solicited a lewd photograph from a fifteen-year-old Portsmouth juvenile.
Peterson was taken into custody without incident after police had obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Peterson will be arraigned in 2nd District Court in Newport this morning.
