Popular free annual Fall River Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair to showcase local artisans
Christmas is fast approaching which means a popular Fall River craft fair is coming up that will benefit Fall River college students.
On December 7 and 8 the 43rd Annual Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair will be held at Durfee High School. The Fair will be from 10am to 4pm both days. Admission and Parking is FREE. Due to the current construction of the news school, the new entrance will be on the south side of the field house. Shuttle buses will be available to pick up and drop off in the parking lots.
What started out as a small show for area artisans has grown into the area’s largest and finest craft show. The fair gives artisans an opportunity to showcase and sell their handmade work for the Christmas season. Participants range from hobby artisans to professionals. Over 200 crafters from throughout New England will be in attendance.
This weekend event is sponsored by the Fall River Scholarship Foundation. The Fair attracts thousands of area residents who will enjoy the handmade work of 200 craftsmen from throughout New England.
All proceeds from the Fair are distributed in the form of scholarships to Fall River students in June.
