According to police, at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Coventry Police and Central Coventry Fire Department responded to Dunkin Donuts located at 2285 New London Tpk. for a vehicle that had crashed into the building.

Once the occupants of the vehicle were checked by rescue personnel, Officers were able to determine that the operator suffered a medical event which resulted in the vehicle traveling through the parking lot, striking an unoccupied parked vehicle, and then striking the corner of the building.
