Police release name of victim in fatal crash on Route 95
Scituate, R.I. – The Rhode Island State Police report that a lone operator of a vehicle traveling on Route 95 south in the Town of West Greenwich succumbed to injuries as a result of the accident.
The operator was identified as Kenneth Norberg, age 55, of Coventry, Rhode Island.
A preliminary investigation revealed that at approximately 12:07 a.m. July 29, 2020 the vehicle was traveling southbound on Route 95 in the Town of West Greenwich when it exited the roadway and rolled-over several times. The operator was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A preliminary investigation revealed that speed appears to be a factor. The accident remains under investigation.
