Police release details of crash involving car and alleged “erratic” motorcycle rider in Fall River
A motorcycle rider was injured Saturday evening in a serious crash in Fall River.
At approximately 8:45 p.m., a call came into dispatch for a motorcycle versus car crash at Bedford and Eightenth Streets.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that the motorcycle rider was suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
Debris could be seen scattered across the road.
The operator of the motorcycle was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
Police state that according to a witness, the motorcycle rider was allegedly driving erratically before crashing into the car that was turning onto Plain Street.
Both operators were cited for motor vehicle offenses.
Fall River Police Accident Reconstruction responded to the scene and is continuing the investigation.
