Police release description of person of interest after report of attempted child abduction at Rhode Island park
A Rhode Island police department issued a community alert on Friday.
According to police, at just after 3:30 p.m., officers responded to Johnston War Memorial Park at 1583 Hartford Avenue following a report of an attempted child abduction.
Police are currently seeking a person of interest described as a male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately six feet tall with olive-toned skin and black hair. He was last seen wearing a white or gray tank top, black and reddish shorts, and carrying a large black water bottle and Crossbody bag.
