Police looking for Rhode Island man who has been missing for several days
The Johnston Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in locating Robert Rocchio, 50, who has been reported missing.
Rocchio left his home on March 6, sometime after 1:00 p.m. and did not return.
He was last seen wearing a tan jacket and black backpack, walking in the area of Atwood Avenue. He if 5’9” in height, weighing approximately 275 pounds.
According to his family, some of Rocchio’s clothes were missing, along with cash. Rocchio is believed to have his cell phone with him, however it appears to have been turned off. Rocchio’s family also stated that he may attempt to travel to Manhattan, NY, where he previously lived, however he does not have access to a vehicle.
Those who may have seen Rocchio, or know where he may be located, are requested to call Johnston Police at 401-231-8100.
