Police looking for public’s help to locate missing Massachusetts man that could be almost anywhere
Police are looking for the public’s help to locate an elderly man and he could be almost anywhere.
According to Police Chief Bill McGrath, Steve Perry is a 73-year-old Wrentham resident, retired truck driver, who failed to return home. He was last seen yesterday Saturday at 2:45 p.m. in Wrentham Center, driving his 2007 Cadillac DTS, color dark blue, Mass. reg. 48WB66. It was his intention to visit a local restaurant and then return home.
When Perry failed to return home, police were able to reach him on his cell phone. He stated he became lost after getting on Rt. 495. Throughout the evening, police spoke with him several more times. During these conversations, at different times of the evening, Perry was in Providence, then somewhere south of Harford Ct., then Revere Beach and finally near Manchester-by-the-Sea.
During each conversation, Perry was continuing to drive, therefore; he could be anywhere. Late in the evening, his phone went dead which was expected as he did not have a charger in his car. He has not been seen or heard from since.
Perry is described as a white male, age 73, very thin build, 107 pounds, 5’7″, brown eyes, gray/white hair, wearing a tan work shirt with the words “CRST Specialized Transit” above the pocket, dark blue pants, black work boots. Perry walks with an aluminum cane. He has no diagnosed cognitive issues such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, etc.
If seen, please call 911 and report his location to the police in that jurisdiction. If you have any information, please call the Wrentham Police Department at 508-384-2121.
