Police looking for public’s assistance concerning murder of former Rhode Island nurse
North Providence Police continue to investigate after a woman was found murdered late last year.
According to police, 61-year-old Claire Flynn was found on the afternoon of December 20th on her living room floor on Centredale Avenue.
Flynn was the victim of a single gunshot wound.
Claire’s brother hadn’t heard from his sister for weeks which caused him to check on her.
Flynn was a retired nurse with the Rhode Island Department of Corrections.
Police are looking for anyone to come forward who may have any details that may help in the investigation including those who knew Flynn or those who have knowledge of personal relationships she had in 2023.
