Police investigating two serious crashes involving motorcycles Saturday
A local man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Saturday.
The single vehicle crash occurred at approximately 1:50 a.m. this morning in the area of 1750 Diamond Hill Road in Woonsocket.
A Woonsocket man was transported to Rhode Island Hospital in critical condition. A passenger received minor injures.
Another crash occurred in Coventry this afternoon.
Shortly before 1:20 p.m., a call came in to dispatch for a motorcycle versus truck crash on Flat River Road (Route 117) at Leuba Road.
The motorcycle rider was conscious and alert with a head injury and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
The occupant of the truck was not injured.
